What is Podiatry? Is it the same as Chiropody?
Basically, yes but Podiatry is a more up to date or modern version of Chiropody, Podiatry is a foot specialism, people see chiropody as just nail cutting, hard skin and corn removal, podiatry does all that plus more, we can perform nail surgery, we deal with foot pain, orthotics, footwear advice, diabetic foot care and assessment.

We are a medical profession that are highly trained in medical conditions, such as diabetes, rheumatoid arthritis, stroke, just to name a few, as a lot of medical conditions can affect the feet.
